TESL Nova Scotia (TESL NS) is a professional association for people who teach, support, research, or are interested in English as a Second or Additional Language (ESL/EAL) in Nova Scotia.
We bring together educators and professionals from a wide range of teaching and learning contexts, creating opportunities to connect, share ideas, learn from one another, and grow professionally.
Connecting and Learning Together
TESL NS supports professional learning throughout the year through two annual conferences, professional development workshops, events, and other opportunities to connect with colleagues across the province and beyond. Our conferences provide opportunities to share teaching practices, explore current research, and learn from local, national, and international specialists in the field of English language teaching.
We also keep our community connected through our newsletter and online communities, where members can discover professional learning opportunities, resources, news, and events.
Building a Stronger Professional Community
TESL NS fosters connections with regional and national organizations, including TESL Canada, as well as with individuals and organizations involved in English language teaching and learning.
