TESL Nova Scotia is an association of people concerned with the teaching and learning of English as a Second/Additional Language in Nova Scotia. TESL NS provides the opportunity for professional development through two annual conferences (spring and fall), events and workshops, and a teaching newsletter and a Facebook group.
TESL NS forms professional links with other regional associations and individuals involved in or interested in English teaching, as well as with TESL Canada, the national organization for English teachers.
TESL NS fosters scholarship, research and professional development among teachers and others involved in English teaching to adults in Nova Scotia. Two annual conferences enable TESL NS members to learn from and share information with local, national and international specialists in the field of English language teaching.
The membership of TESL NS includes new and experienced teachers from a variety of teaching contexts as well as researchers, students and volunteers. Membership is open to anyone involved or interested in English language teaching. Join us!
