About the Conference

The TESL NS Mini Conference 2026 brings together language educators, researchers, and practitioners to explore the connections between research, classroom practice, and learner success.

Under the theme “Connecting Research, Practice, and Learner Success,” the conference provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, share practical strategies, and explore research-informed approaches to language education. Through presentations, discussion, and professional exchange, participants will consider how research can inform teaching practice and how experiences from the classroom can contribute to our understanding of effective language education.

The mini conference highlights the importance of learner-centred, inclusive, and evidence-informed approaches, while creating space for educators and practitioners to learn from one another and connect with colleagues across the language education community.

Note: The TESL NS Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in a hybrid format as part of the conference program. Further details will be included in the program schedule, which will be released soon.
