Spring 2023 TESL NS Conference

The TESL Nova Scotia Spring 2023 Conference, “Shifting Practice in ELT”, will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023. This is an in-person conference at Acadia University (Wolfville, NS), with some virtual sessions. The goal of this Spring’s conference is to share ideas, strategies, materials, and research related to the many ways in which we have had to re-calibrate our teaching and program management strategies these past several years.

At a Glance

Location: Patterson Hall (24 University Avenue, Wolfville)

Recommended Parking: Divinity College Parking Lot and Wheelock Hall Parking Lot (North or South of 38 Highland Avenue). There is no charge for parking during the conference.

Please bring:

  • A name tag if you already have one. (Sticker tags & markers will be available for those who need them.) 
  • A copy of the program either printed or on a device.

Lunch: Attendees selected lunch options during registration. You will find your lunch in the lobby of Patterson Hall at 12:00. You can stay in the lobby of Patterson Hall to eat your lunch, walk uphill to the Irving Centre, or find another comfortable spot. The Local Box Lunch that features food items sourced from the Annapolis Valley including a Flowercart kaiser, a Stirling Farm apple, local Lay’s chips, & a Made with Local bar.
